This formula contains Folate as Quatrefolic®, the glucosamine salt of 5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid, which is the active form of folate used directly by the body. It provides 800 mcg DFE, equivalent to 1.6 mg of the compound. Unlike folic acid, it does not need to be converted by the body and is suitable for individuals with reduced enzyme activity in folate metabolism. Folate plays a role in normal amino acid synthesis, supports blood formation and helps during periods of rapid cell division, such as pregnancy.

Suggested use: Take one capsule daily with water
