Monofloral Manuka Honey 540 MGO by MANUKA DOCTOR is a monofloral Manuka honey from New Zealand, made from the nectar of the manuka bush and certified under the MGO system at no less than 540 mg methylglyoxal per kilogram.
It is suitable for everyday use as part of a varied, balanced diet — taken on its own, stirred into warm drinks, or used to sweeten food.
This product is monofloral honey gathered from the flowers of the manuka bush and assessed by the MGO system, which indicates the natural methylglyoxal content in milligrams per kilogram. Like other honeys, it consists mainly of carbohydrates in the form of sugars, with only trace amounts of protein and fat.
Take it straight from the spoon, add it to warm (not boiling) drinks, or use it as a sweetener with food. Do not mix it with liquids above approximately 40 °C if you wish to preserve the honey’s natural qualities.
