The formula combines an aqueous extract of herbs, making up 42.5% of the composition, with a smaller proportion of propolis hydroalcoholic extract. Propolis is a resin-like substance that bees collect from tree buds and other plant sources, and here it is processed into a hydroalcoholic extract used at a concentration of 0.4%. The herbal side of the formula draws on rosemary leaf, thyme leaf, eucalyptus leaf, and stinging nettle flower, while a saline solution from sea water, at 0.9%, completes the mix. Famille Mary, the brand behind the product, has worked with bee-derived raw materials such as propolis since 1921, drawing on its own network of beehives.
The bottle should be shaken before each use. It is held upright while spraying, with a light inhalation through the nose during application.
