The formula is built around Promuel® propolis extract, a standardized bee propolis preparation providing a defined polyphenol content. Propolis is a resin-like substance collected by bees from tree buds and plant sources, which has long been used in traditional bee-product preparations. The spray also includes small amounts of vitamin B2 (riboflavin) and zinc (gluconate). The base also contains manuka honey and glycerin, which give the spray its liquid, easy-to-apply texture.
The spray is used by applying a set number of sprays directly into the mouth and swallowing, following the instructions on the label. It can be taken with or without food.
