Gel Toothpaste for Kids with Mastiha by MASTIHA is a gel-form toothpaste developed for children, formulated with resin from the mastic tree grown on the island of Chios along with fluoride for dental care.

Chios mastic is a natural resin harvested from the mastic tree (Pistacia lentiscus) grown on the Greek island of Chios, and has long been used in Mediterranean confectionery and oral care products. In this toothpaste, it appears as gum, essential oil, and mastic oil, alongside a goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea) extract. The formula also contains xylitol and sodium fluoride, ingredients commonly found in oral care products for children.

The gel texture and mild taste are intended to make brushing more pleasant for children, and the product is designed to be used as part of a regular oral hygiene routine.

Main ingredients:

• Chios mastic — gum, essential oil, and mastic oil (Pistacia lentiscus);
• Xylitol — sugar alcohol used in the gel base;
• Sodium fluoride — 1450 ppm F-;

Dosage and directions:

• One use: a pea-sized amount of toothpaste on the toothbrush;
• Intake: use for brushing 3 times daily, after meals, brushing for at least 2 minutes;
• Directions for use: for children up to around 6 years of age, use only a pea-sized amount and supervise brushing to minimise the risk of swallowing.
