The formula is built around a combination of traditional plant extracts, including Tilia tomentosa (lime tree tips), Passiflora incarnata (passionflower, standardized to vitexin), Melissa officinalis (lemon balm, standardized to rosmarinic acid), and Matricaria chamomilla (chamomile, standardized to apigenin), together with Tilia platyphyllos/Tilia cordata flower extract standardized to rutin. Sweet orange peel essential oil is also included. These botanicals are long established in European herbal traditions and are commonly used in children's evening formulations of this type.
The drops are intended to be taken in the evening, around 30 minutes before bedtime, and can be given directly or mixed into water, herbal tea, or another drink according to preference. Shake the bottle before use.
Main ingredients:
- Tilia tomentosa (lime tree) glycerin macerate of tips — 450 mg per 4.5 ml daily dose;
- Passiflora incarnata (passionflower) flower extract, standardized to 4% vitexin — 225 mg per 4.5 ml daily dose;
- Melissa officinalis (lemon balm) leaf extract, standardized to 12% rosmarinic acid — 135 mg per 4.5 ml daily dose;
- Matricaria chamomilla (chamomile) inflorescence extract, standardized to 1.2% apigenin — 135 mg per 4.5 ml daily dose;
- Tilia platyphyllos/Tilia cordata (lime) inflorescence extract, standardized to 1% rutin — 90 mg per 4.5 ml daily dose;
- Sweet orange (Citrus aurantium var. dulcis) peel essential oil — 2.25 mg per 4.5 ml daily dose.
Dosage and directions:
- children 1–3 years: 1 ml in the evening, with an optional additional 0.5 ml in the morning if needed;
- children 4–5 years: 2 ml in the evening, with an optional additional 1 ml in the morning if needed;
- children 6–12 years: 3 ml in the evening, with an optional additional 1.5 ml in the morning if needed;
- directions for use: shake the bottle before use; take approximately 30 minutes before bedtime, either directly or mixed into water, herbal tea, or another drink of choice.
